I didn’t set out to be a photographer. A few years ago, I was running an online fitness coaching business, and I wanted to take better photos of myself, my trainer friends, and the products we got paid to promote.
I found I didn’t enjoy modeling all that much. But photography? That was love at first sight.
Since I began, I’ve branched out from fitness and product photography to explore other genres– glamour, fashion, and event photography. I’ve even begun experimenting with combining my photos with AI art using MidJourney, Deep Dream, and Photoshop.
I always strive to marry my artistic vision to the needs of my clients in order to produce material that will not only stand out from the overwhelming volume of visual media in today’s world, but also convey the ideas and themes called for by a project.
My background in marketing and entrepreneurship allows me to understand the needs of a client, and how my work fits into an overall marketing and branding strategy.
Before I was a photographer, I ran a fitness business, and before that I was the director of business development for a boutique ad agency in San Francisco– believe it or not, I have an MBA degree. Now I’m a marketing consultant for tech startups, with a side business making beautiful art.
Outside of work my hobbies include weightlifting, backpacking, playing Tabletop RPG’s, beach volleyball, practicing kung-fu, and playing jugger, the post-apocalyptic bloodsport of the future– pictured to the left.
