About the Artist

I believe an image should do more than just capture a moment—it should get viewers telling themselves a story. My process is defined by three core pillars: Intentionality, Atmospheric Resonance, and Narrative Depth.

I start by defining exactly what the shoot is trying to achieve. For client work, this means extensive pre-shoot communication to get clarity around the client’s precise goals. With fine art shoots, this means reviewing my inspirations and figuring out the overall theme of the piece.

From there, I focus on the "vibe"— the mood or atmosphere that the shoot is meant to evoke, and how that translates to utilising colour, lighting and texture to evoke a visceral response.

Finally, I layer in the details that turn a simple photo into a glimpse of a broader narrative. Work that hints at a broader story, demands repeated viewing, and sticks in the minds of the audience.

I am a still photographer and creative producer. Beyond the camera, I organize and lead shoots that distill abstract ideas into tangible moods. I work with brands and individuals to convey specific identities, stories, and vibes. If there is a "feeling" you are trying to capture, my job is to translate it into a visual language that speaks clearly to the audience.

Where Strategy Meets Artistry

My work is a blend of several distinct worlds:

  • Commercial & Fashion: With a background in marketing, I don’t just see a beautiful composition; I see a visual asset. I understand how an image needs to perform for a brand, ensuring that every editorial or beauty campaign is as strategically sound as it is aesthetically striking. Every commercial job begins with a thorough discussion of the marketing goals behind the shoot, including brand identity, content usage and funnel strategy.

  • Portraits, Fitness & Boudoir: Just as with commercial work, portrait jobs should begin by achieving clarity on what they’re trying to achieve, whether that’s getting you more work, helping you feel better about your body, Whether I’m shooting a high-end corporate portrait or an intimate boudoir session, I focus on the human connection required to make every subject feel empowered and authentically seen.

  • Fine Art: This is my playground for Narrative Depth. My fine art pieces are designed to compel repeated viewing—images that offer something new every time they are displayed on a gallery wall or in a private collection.

The Person Behind the Lens

I firmly believe that living an interesting life is key to creating interesting art. When I’m not obsessing over lighting ratios, I’m likely on the move. I spent years living as a digital nomad, traveling the world and working online, and I still make a point to travel somewhere exotic once or twice a year. Most recently that was Iraq, and next up is Forest City, Malaysia, where I’ll be shooting content for a photo book. When I’m here in Los Angeles, I can often be found playing beach volleyball or taking salsa and bachata lessons. I spend my summers playing Jugger—a fast-paced, post-apocalyptic team sport. It keeps my reflexes sharp and my collaborative spirit high.
